The Gospel According to Rudolph

We all know the story of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, right?

Rudolph was an outcast and judged by those around him. In Mark 1:1-8, we learn of John the Baptist. He, too, was an outcast and judged by those around him. John was an unlikely messenger whose one purpose was to prepare the way for Jesus. We need to “get ready” because that is what Advent is all about!

We often prepare for many things in life but we often don’t prepare for the return of Jesus.

What is God calling you to do today to prepare others for the coming of Christ?

We need to have the light of Christ so that others can see the light of Christ in us!

We are to show this light to lead others to the light!

This is our responsibility as Christians.

Just as Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer show brightly to lead Santa’s sleigh, we are to show the Light of Christ boldly!

There are so many people around us who are lost. Are we going to be the Light that these people need? The world needs this now more than ever!

We need to “Glow For Jesus”!
