Season of Thankfulness Part II: We Enjoy It So Much

Scripture: I Thessalonians 5:18

Today, we often Worship Our Work, Work at Our Play & Play at Our Worship

• We no longer communicate with the Lord

• We have become sedentary in our Spiritual Life

What is the Focus of our Lives?

• We focus on the “play” in our lives

• We should have that kind of focus and excitement in our Worship

God provides us everything to enjoy our lives, BUT do we enjoy too much?

• We are to enjoy this life but we should be continuously Thankful to God for all the gifts given to us

• We have become selfish & entitled to these gifts from God

• We should not focus on the gifts but on the Giver of those gifts

We seem to be never content with what we have – we always want more (Bigger & Better)

• Ultimately, these things don’t matter in the end

• What truly matters in the end is that we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior

• Lust for material things has destroyed us – we have to use all blessings to bless others who are in need

Rejoice in what God has given you! Be Thankful Always for the Gifts from our God!
